TRNC codifies an explicit capital/profit-repatriation freedom only for two special vehicles: International Business Companies (Law 38/2005, Article 13(4)) and Free Port/Zone enterprises (Law 26/1983, Article 28(3), already published as freezone-capital-repatriation-freedom). An ordinary TRNC company relies instead on the general currency-freedom provisions of the Currency and Exchange Law 38/1997, not a dedicated investment-law repatriation guarantee.
