According to TRNC Ministry of Health, the Pharmaceutical and Pharmacy Department procures medicines and medical supplies for all TRNC public health services and distributes them through a General Pharmacy Depot to hospitals and health centres. Medicines are grouped into three lists: List (1)A (outpatient/polyclinic prescribable), List (1)B (dispensed only with Depot approval), and List (2) (for hospitalised patients). Off-list medicines can be collected by a patient from the Depot directly once the Directorate approves the prescription.
