According to IPC, the Immovable Property Commission describes itself as set up under Law 67/2005 in accordance with the rulings of the European Court of Human Rights in Xenides-Arestis v. Turkey, with the purpose of establishing an effective domestic remedy for claims relating to abandoned properties in Northern Cyprus.
