Rule
A property owner's own property-linked residence permit does not by itself extend to their spouse or children. Eligible family members instead fall under the separate Family Residence Permit regime; a residence-permit holder is one of the categories of person the regulation recognises as able to act as sponsor (destekleyici) for that separate permit.[1]
Exceptions
- This Rule confirms only the core structural proposition — that the two permits are separate, and that a residence-permit holder is one recognised sponsor category — and does not detail which family members are eligible, at what age, under what dependency conditions, or with what documents. Those are separately evidenced in the Family Residence Permit's own provisions (see property-owner-residence-duration-current-guidance's sibling Rules on Family Residence duration and income) and must not be inferred from this Rule.
- Do not read this Rule as implying automatic entitlement for any family member merely because the owner holds a residence permit — sponsorship is a precondition, not a guarantee; the family member must independently satisfy the Family Residence Permit's own conditions.
