Rule
TRNC's incentive regime under the Incentive Law 47/2000 is administered by the State Planning Organization, offers eight defined incentive categories to domestic and foreign investors alike, and can be clawed back, with financial and criminal consequences, for breach of its conditions.[1]
Exceptions
- This rule covers the regime's existence, administering body, eight-category framework and clawback mechanism only. It excludes the specific rates for two of the eight categories (stamp-tax reduction on capital increases; mortgage-transaction fee reduction), delegated to an implementing Tüzük not located; and the minimum-investment 'own equity' ratio by region/sector, described in YAGA's own FAQ as set by a 2017 Council of Ministers decision not independently located or confirmed as still current.
