Pre-2024 contracts: register and apply within six months of the decree

Rule

While the decree is in force, a foreigner who signed a sales contract before Law 39/2024 came into force on 21 May 2024, and the seller, must within six months of the decree’s entry into force register the contract at the District Land Registry up to the buyer’s acquisition right and apply to the Ministry for purchase permission.[1]
