TRNC corporate tax rate: flat 10%, including foreign corporations

Rule record · last verified 20 September 2026

In force. Start date not confirmed in this record.

Rule

TRNC corporate tax is a flat 10% on net corporate income, explicitly including foreign corporations — no rate differential by ownership, though the taxable base differs (worldwide vs. TRNC-source only) by where the company is seated.[1]

Exceptions

  • No standalone capital-gains-on-share-sale provision was found — such gains appear to be folded into ordinary trading profit at the normal 10% rate (Corporate Tax Law computes income by reference to Income Tax Law rules), but this is inference from adjacent provisions, not a directly stated rule.
  • This Rule states the RATE only. The taxable BASE differs by where the company is seated (worldwide income vs. TRNC-source income only) — that distinction is not restated here and should not be assumed uniform.
